How we teach

Three things we do differently

None of them is complicated. All of them are harder to do than to promise.

01

We find where your child is actually stuck

Not one-size-fits-all. Topics stack — shaky fractions show up later in algebra, weak algebra shows up in A-Level calculus — so we find where the chain breaks and build forward from there, rather than re-teaching whatever school covered that week.

02

The same specialist, every week

Every tutor teaches their own subject on your child’s own specification — not a generalist working a page ahead. Your child keeps the same tutor week to week, gets a short written note after each lesson, and every lesson is recorded so revision is just watching it back.

03

An honest answer, every time

We publish results year by year, with the marks. We tell families which tier we think suits their child. And if we think a grade is not reachable in the time left — or that your child doesn’t need a tutor yet — we say so.

It costs nothing to find out whether we are right for your child. Ask for a free demo class — a real lesson, and a straight answer either way.

Proof

Numbers, not slogans

We publish our results year by year with the method shown, and we’d rather show nothing for a subject than dress up a percentage.

In their words

What parents tell us most

87 Google reviews, and the same three things come up again and again: confidence in maths, clear explanations, and a tutor they can rely on.

“My daughter has been learning with our tutor for the past few months, and the improvement in her skills has been truly noticeable. He explains concepts in a simple and understandable way, making even difficult topics easier to grasp.”

Ameya PuranikGCSE Maths

“As a school teacher myself, I know how hard it is to support a neurodivergent child who is a school refuser too. Our tutor’s approach led my son not only to pass his GCSEs with a good grade, but made him love maths.”

Maria MatsoukaGCSE Maths

“Our tutor is all about sharing his love and passion for maths and encourages his students to aim high, work hard and be confident. Our daughter appreciates how he always finds a way to break down problems. 100% recommend.”

Kyle GouldingGCSE Maths

Questions

Questions about us

Where are you based?

Our office is at 37 Talma Gardens, Twickenham. Lessons are online, so we teach families across the UK — and plenty close to home in Twickenham, Richmond, Teddington and Hampton.

Are your tutors checked?

Yes. Every tutor holds an enhanced DBS check and teaches their own subject, on your child’s own specification.

Will my child always have the same tutor?

Yes. Your child keeps the same specialist week to week — that continuity is most of why the confidence comes back. If the match is not right, tell us and we will change it.

Is there a contract?

No. Lessons are £36 for 60 minutes, paid per lesson, and you can pause whenever you like. There is no placement fee.

What if you can’t help?

Then we will say so. We teach the UK GCSE and A-Level specifications, and we would rather tell you honestly after the free demo class than take a booking we cannot do justice to.
